Based on detailed customer requirements and analysis of submitted drawings of components to be welded, our engineers are able to propose optimal solutions, perfectly meeting any resistance welding equipment or automation needs.
MULTIPOINT WELDERS/MULTI-SPOT WELDERS
One of the specialized devices manufactured by ASPA are multi-point welders for steel meshes made of rebar, smooth or ribbed. Such meshes are used in the construction and mining industries. The design of the welders is adapted to specific tasks and parameters dictated by the customer.
The body of the welding machine has a gantry design. The top beam is equipped with a guide with a set of pressure systems. The systems are mounted in such a way that they can be moved and removed smoothly, which makes it possible to prepare the machine for welding meshes with different spacing of longitudinal bars.
The welding machines use an automatic mesh shifting mechanism connected to pneumatic mesh clamping units. The device grasps the welded cross bar and pulls the welded mesh out from under the electrodes by a preset mesh size. When the cycle is complete, the mesh is pulled out of the welding area and rests on the beams of the receiving table.
Depending on the customer’s requirements, the welding machine can be equipped with a transverse and longitudinal bar feeder to automatically feed individual bars between the electrodes. The feeder can be equipped with several chambers for feeding different bar diameters.
The power circuit of the welding machine consists of power circuits and automation and control circuits, which are located in a free-standing control cabinet. The main components of the power circuit include welding transformers made by ASPY. The main component of the automation circuit is the master controller, which clips together all the automation circuits. Microprocessor control of welding parameters made by ASPY is used to control thyristors. The cabinet also contains a controller for the mesh shifting mechanism.
